The 2026 Kia Carnival Sport+ HEV combines the practical proportions of a large wagon with the flexible interior expected of an eight-seat people mover. Finished in Snow White Pearl, this new Carnival presents a spacious, family-oriented layout while retaining the convenience of a petrol hybrid powertrain and front-wheel drive.

Its eight-seat cabin is designed around access and adaptability. Power sliding side doors make entry easier in confined spaces and help passengers reach the second and third rows without requiring a wide opening beside the vehicle. The second row provides reclining functionality and slide adjustment, while the third row can be split-folded and laid flat when carrying passengers is not the priority. With three rows of seating and lap-sash belts for all eight seats, the Carnival offers useful flexibility for changing passenger and luggage requirements.

The cabin is equipped for longer journeys as well as everyday travel. Rear air conditioning helps extend climate control beyond the front seats, while the multi-zone climate-control system allows the interior environment to be managed across different areas of the vehicle. Multiple cup holders, bottle holders, storage areas and rear seatback pockets add practical touches for passengers across the rows. The power tailgate and remote boot release further reduce the effort involved in loading the rear compartment.

Technology is integrated throughout the driving experience. A full digital instrument display sits alongside a colour multifunction control screen, satellite navigation, digital radio and an eight-speaker stereo. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and voice recognition provide several ways to connect compatible devices, while wireless charging supports suitable smartphones. The multifunction steering wheel, selectable driving modes and gear-shift paddles place commonly used controls within easy reach.

Driver assistance equipment is extensive. Adaptive cruise control with distance control, a speed limiter and road-sign recognition are supported by forward collision warning and collision mitigation functions. Blind-spot monitoring with active assistance, front and rear cross-traffic warnings, lane-keeping assistance and lane-departure warning help provide additional awareness around the vehicle. Front, rear and side cameras work with front, rear and side parking sensors, graphical parking assistance and pedestrian avoidance with braking to assist during manoeuvring. The vehicle also includes driver-attention and fatigue warnings, rear seat occupancy warning and side-door exit warning.

Safety coverage includes front, side and head-protecting airbags for the first and second rows, head airbags for the third row, a front-centre airbag and a driver knee airbag. Electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, hill-holder assistance and trailer-sway control are also listed. These systems complement the Carnival's people-moving focus without compromising the convenience of its sliding doors and configurable seating.

Outside, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps and front LED fog lamps give the Carnival a well-equipped specification. Roof rails, heated and folding power mirrors, privacy glass and a rear roof-mounted spoiler add further functional detail. Rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamp operation and a laminated windscreen contribute to everyday convenience, while the electric parking brake, keyless start and proximity-based central locking simplify routine use.
