The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 is a full-size pickup shaped around serious off-road capability, towing strength and everyday usability. This new Crew Cab example pairs the T1 MY25 specification with the ZR2 grade and Tech Pack, giving it the equipment and hardware to operate confidently across a wide range of demanding conditions. With only 33 kilometres recorded, it presents as an almost untravelled vehicle.

At its core is a 6.2-litre petrol engine matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The multi-ratio gearbox is suited to both relaxed cruising and controlled progress when conditions become difficult, while the 4WD system is supported by a push-button transfer case, twin-speed transfer box and selectable locking front and rear differentials. Crawl Mode, Hill Descent Control and an off-road drive mode further enhance low-speed control, particularly where traction and measured wheel movement matter more than outright speed.

The ZR2’s chassis specification is a significant part of its appeal. High-performance suspension, performance dampers, mud-terrain tyres, skid plates and an off-road front bumper are designed to provide greater resilience away from sealed roads. The Silverado also includes a full-size alloy spare wheel, front towing hook and towbar, while the integrated trailer brake controller, trailer wiring harness and trailer hitch guidance make the vehicle better prepared for towing duties.
