2026 BMW 220 Gran Coupé Automatic

The 2026 BMW 220 Gran Coupé combines a compact footprint with the visual character of a low-slung four-door BMW. Finished in Black Sapphire metallic with a black interior, this new example is specified with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, creating a straightforward configuration for everyday motoring while retaining the distinctive proportions and cabin presentation associated with the Gran Coupé name.

Its 150 kW petrol engine produces 300Nm of torque, with the manufacturer-listed performance figures including a 0-100km/h time of 7.30 seconds and a maximum speed of 250 km/h. Fuel consumption is listed at 6.7L/100km, while the 49-litre tank supports the practical requirements of regular commuting and longer trips without changing the car's compact character. The automatic transmission also includes gearshift paddles, giving the driver an added level of control when a more engaged response is preferred.

The specification places a strong emphasis on comfort and daily convenience. Electric front-seat adjustment with memory allows the preferred driving position to be readily restored, while heating for the driver and front passenger adds useful warmth in cooler conditions. Automatic air conditioning helps maintain a consistent cabin environment, and the M leather steering wheel provides a more focused point of contact for the driver. The black interior gives the cabin a restrained, cohesive appearance.

Technology is supported by BMW Live Cockpit Professional, a Head-Up Display and a personal eSIM. Together with DAB+ radio, TeleServices and Intelligent Emergency Calling, these systems provide a broad suite of connected and information-focused equipment. Wireless Charging Storage is included through the Equipment package Professional, helping compatible devices remain accessible during journeys.

The vehicle's factory equipment also includes the M Sport package, bringing M Sport exterior and interior parts, sport seats, an anthracite headliner, an M leather steering wheel and Adaptive M Suspension. M High-Gloss Shadow Line elements add a darker finish to selected exterior details. Adaptive LED headlights and High-Beam Assistant support visibility, while the BMW kidney Iconic Glow provides a distinctive illuminated front-end detail.

Parking Assistant Plus, Comfort Access and the Exterior Mirror Package are among the convenience-oriented additions. The safety and security specification includes a tyre pressure monitor, tyre repair kit, warning triangle, anti-theft security system, Active Pedestrian Protection and automatic emergency calling. Driving Assistant Professional is also fitted as part of the Enhancement Package, alongside a harman/kardon HiFi loudspeaker system, active front seats, steering-wheel heating and a panoramic glass roof.
