Vehicle Overview

The 2026 Hyundai Kona Hybrid Premium is a compact SUV that combines a distinctive exterior with the everyday practicality expected of a five-seat family vehicle. Finished in Mirage Green, this new example presents with zero kilometres and pairs Hyundai's hybrid powertrain with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Its compact dimensions make it suited to urban driving, while the SUV body provides a useful balance of passenger space, visibility and adaptable carrying ability.

At the heart of the Kona is a 1.6-litre hybrid engine. The stated fuel consumption is 3 L/100km, supported by a 38-litre fuel tank, giving this vehicle an efficiency-focused character for regular commuting and general day-to-day use. The automatic gearbox is intended to keep driving straightforward in stop-start traffic and on longer trips, while the front-wheel-drive layout is well matched to the vehicle's road-oriented SUV design. The engine produces 144 Nm of torque.

The Premium grade adds a strong emphasis on comfort and convenience. Climate control helps maintain a more consistent cabin temperature, while heated electric seats and Light Shale Grey interior trim contribute to a more considered environment for both driver and passengers. Keyless start simplifies the process of getting underway, and Bluetooth connectivity supports hands-free phone use and audio streaming. An eight-speaker stereo provides the cabin's audio system, while a 12-volt auxiliary socket offers a practical power source for compatible devices.

For everyday manoeuvring, the reversing camera improves visibility when backing into parking spaces or navigating tight areas. Lane Keeping Active Assist and adaptive speed-limiter technology with road-sign recognition are included among the listed driver-support features. Anti-lock brakes and a front-centre airbag are also specified, although the vehicle is listed with an ANCAP safety rating of 4. These systems are designed to provide additional assistance during routine driving without replacing the driver's attention.

The Kona's proportions are useful without being cumbersome. It measures 4,350 mm long, 1,825 mm wide and 1,585 mm high, with seating for five. Those dimensions provide a manageable footprint for city streets and parking areas, while the five-door layout supports easier access to both rows. The 1,950 kg listed weight and 2,660 mm wheelbase complete a specification focused on stable, practical road use.
