2016 Hyundai I30

2016 Hyundai i30 ACTIVE X (SUNROOF).

This 2016 Hyundai i30 Active X presents as a practical small hatchback with a useful blend of everyday comfort, accessible dimensions and well-rounded equipment. Its five-door layout makes it straightforward to use in town, while the hatchback body provides a more flexible cargo opening than a conventional sedan. The white exterior gives the car a clean, understated appearance.

Power comes from a 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. That combination is suited to drivers who want familiar, uncomplicated automatic motoring, with the i30's compact format making it easy to place on the road and manoeuvre in tighter spaces. The listing records 160,182 kilometres, so the odometer reading is an important part of assessing the vehicle's condition and ongoing maintenance needs.

The Active X specification adds a more finished cabin environment through leather-accented upholstery, a leather steering wheel and leather gear knob. The driver's seat is manually adjustable, while the steering column offers tilt and telescopic adjustment to help establish a comfortable driving position. Air conditioning, a multi-function control screen, trip computer and ambient temperature display support the car's daily usability without overcomplicating the controls.

A panoramic sunroof is the standout feature of this particular vehicle. It brings additional light into the cabin and gives the interior a more open feel, making ordinary journeys feel less enclosed. The sunroof is complemented by ambient interior lighting, illuminated entry and exit features, and vanity mirrors with illumination.

Connectivity and convenience equipment includes mobile phone connectivity, an AUX/USB input socket, a multi-function steering wheel and a radio/CD audio system with six speakers. Cruise control can reduce fatigue on longer drives, while power windows, remote central locking, heated folding exterior mirrors and a full-size steel spare wheel add useful everyday practicality.

Parking assistance is supported by rear parking distance control and a reversing camera, features that are particularly valuable when working with confined spaces or busy car parks. Front fog lights, projector headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels contribute to the car's exterior specification, while the rear spoiler gives the hatchback a sportier visual finish.

Safety equipment listed for the i30 includes anti-lock braking, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability programming and traction control. The occupant protection package includes front, side, head and knee airbags, along with front seatbelt pre-tensioners, load limiters and reminders for all seats. Child-seat anchor points, ISOFIX attachment points and child-proof rear door locks are also included, adding flexibility for family use.

The split-fold rear seat can help balance passenger accommodation with carrying capacity, and practical touches such as door pockets, cup holders, a centre console box, seatback pockets and a luggage-area light make the cabin easier to live with. A listed 12-month remaining warranty provides an additional point to consider when evaluating the vehicle.

Overall, this i30 combines a familiar automatic drivetrain with a useful five-door body, a sunroof-equipped interior and a comprehensive set of comfort, parking and safety features. Its higher recorded kilometres should be considered alongside the equipment level, presentation and available vehicle documentation during an inspection.
