Vehicle Overview

This 2023 Honda CR-V Black Edition presents the strengths of a practical medium SUV in a distinctive, well-equipped specification. Finished in black and configured as a five-door wagon, it combines a confident road presence with the everyday flexibility expected from the CR-V nameplate. With five seats and a versatile cargo area, it is suited to carrying passengers, shopping and luggage without the footprint or complexity of a larger SUV.

Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. That combination is focused on smooth, accessible everyday performance rather than unnecessary complication. The CVT allows the engine to build speed progressively and helps make the vehicle easy to drive in urban traffic, while the turbocharged petrol engine provides useful response for merging, overtaking and open-road travel. Front-wheel drive also keeps the mechanical layout straightforward for the kind of commuting, highway travel and general running typically associated with a vehicle of this type.

The Black Edition grade gives this CR-V a more individual character than a conventional family SUV. Its black exterior complements the model's clean proportions and restrained styling, while the wagon body provides practical access through all five doors. The upright seating position and spacious cabin design support a broad range of daily tasks, from regular commuting to weekend trips. Rear-seat passengers benefit from the CR-V's emphasis on usable interior space, while the cargo area offers the flexibility needed when carrying larger loads or a mixture of people and equipment.

Inside, the cabin is described as comfortable and well appointed, with quality finishes, modern infotainment and connectivity, practical storage and a comprehensive suite of safety and driver-assistance technology. These features make a meaningful difference to day-to-day ownership: connectivity helps integrate essential devices and media, thoughtful storage keeps the cabin organised, and driver-assistance systems can reduce the workload during routine journeys. The result is an interior designed around function as much as presentation.

At 101,199 kilometres, this CR-V has covered more than a typical lightly used example, making the odometer reading an important part of assessing the vehicle. Its appeal lies in the combination of a relatively recent 2023 model year, the Black Edition specification, a flexible five-seat SUV body and a familiar petrol automatic drivetrain. Buyers considering it can evaluate those attributes alongside the recorded mileage and the vehicle's overall condition.

As a front-wheel-drive SUV with a turbocharged petrol engine and CVT automatic transmission, the CR-V offers a balanced specification for drivers seeking comfortable everyday transport with useful passenger and cargo capacity. The Black Edition styling adds visual distinction, while the practical body configuration and five-seat layout preserve the versatility that makes this class of vehicle popular.
