Vehicle Overview

2024 Star Vision Cx4 CX4.

The 2024 Star Vision CX4 is a sizeable touring caravan designed to combine a practical travel layout with the comforts expected of a mobile home. Its standout feature is a manual slide-out bedroom, which helps create a more open interior when the caravan is set up. The layout includes an east-west queen bed and a dinette seating area, providing separate spaces for sleeping, relaxing and dining.

Comfort is supported by ducted heating and cooling, along with a dedicated diesel heater for colder conditions. The full kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, two-burner electric cooktop, mixer tap and 12V pump. A full ensuite with shower and toilet adds convenience during longer stays, while the external shower provides a useful option for outdoor clean-up.

The CX4 is configured with several features intended to support extended touring and more independent travel. Two fresh-water tanks, a grey-water tank, three solar panels, two batteries and an inverter/charger provide a substantial onboard electrical and water setup. An Anderson plug connection, external barbecue fitting and roll-out awning with anti-flap kit further broaden the caravan's usefulness when travelling between powered and unpowered sites.

Storage is addressed through a tunnel boot, front boot, PVC storage tube and access-hatch storage. Canvas walls and poles are included to extend the living area when the awning is deployed, giving occupants additional sheltered space at camp. Entertainment provisions include a TV bracket and radio system, while 12V LED lighting is fitted throughout the interior.

At 18 feet 9 inches in caravan length and 22 feet 11 inches overall, the CX4 offers a substantial footprint without relying solely on interior space. Its tandem-axle configuration, electric brakes and 16 wheels and tyres are specified for towing duty. Listed weights include a 2660kg tare, 3220kg GTM, 3500kg ATM and 260kg ball weight, all of which should be confirmed against the caravan's compliance documentation before purchase and matched to the tow vehicle.

With its slide-out bedroom, full bathroom, dedicated heating, cooling and off-grid equipment, the Star Vision CX4 presents a well-equipped format for road trips and longer touring. The combination of residential-style amenities and external storage is particularly relevant to travellers who want to spend extended periods on the road while retaining a comfortable, self-contained base.
