Vehicle Overview

2012 Kia Sportage Platinum.

This 2012 Kia Sportage SL MY12 Platinum is a well-equipped all-wheel-drive wagon with the practical proportions and elevated driving position that make the Sportage a versatile choice for everyday use. Its 2.4-litre petrol engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, while the AWD/4WD system adds useful traction across changing road conditions.

The Platinum specification gives this Sportage a notably comfortable cabin. Leather upholstery, heated front seats and a powered driver’s seat add convenience, while dual-zone automatic climate control helps keep front occupants comfortable. Keyless entry and drive, cruise control, power windows and power mirrors contribute to an easy ownership experience, and the leather steering wheel adds a more substantial feel to the driver’s controls.

Practical technology includes Bluetooth connectivity, a reversing camera, a trip computer and a six-speaker radio CD system with a six-disc stacker. Safety equipment listed for the vehicle includes dual front and side front airbags, anti-lock braking, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability programming and traction control. Hill-holder and hill-descent control systems complement the all-wheel-drive layout when travelling on inclines, while front seatbelt pre-tensioners and an engine immobiliser provide additional protection.

Outside, the black bodywork is complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, dusk-sensing headlights and rain-sensing wipers. A powered sunroof brings extra light into the cabin, while roof rails add flexibility for carrying appropriate touring or recreational equipment. The rear spoiler completes the Sportage’s compact SUV profile.

The vehicle is presented with 145,612 kilometres and is described as having a full service history, a recent service, two keys and an owner’s handbook. The listing also states that it comes with a roadworthy certificate, registration and six months of warranty coverage. With its combination of all-wheel-drive traction, useful cabin space, comfort-oriented equipment and established safety features, this Sportage offers a broad range of everyday functionality in a compact wagon format.
