Vehicle Overview

This 2022 Kia Carnival Platinum is a large, well-equipped people mover designed to make carrying passengers more comfortable and less demanding. Its eight-seat layout, generous cabin proportions and sliding-door practicality give it the flexibility expected of a modern multi-purpose vehicle, while the Platinum specification adds a strong level of convenience and driver assistance equipment.

Power comes from a 3.5-litre petrol engine paired with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The combination is suited to everyday urban driving as well as longer trips, with the automatic gearbox helping simplify stop-start traffic and the spacious body providing useful room for passengers and their belongings. A 72-litre fuel tank complements the vehicle's 9 L/100km stated fuel consumption figure.

The cabin is finished in black and includes heated and ventilated seats, features that can make a noticeable difference across changing weather conditions. A panoramic sunroof brings additional light into the interior, while satellite navigation and smartphone compatibility through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support straightforward access to directions, calls and media. A 12-speaker stereo is also listed among the equipment, adding a more immersive audio experience for occupants.

Visibility and low-speed manoeuvring are supported by a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors and a suite of active safety technology. Adaptive cruise control can reduce workload on longer drives, while lane keep assist and adaptive speed limiting with road-sign recognition provide additional assistance when conditions allow. The vehicle also carries a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
