Vehicle Overview

This 2016 Toyota Corolla ZR is a five-door hatchback with the practical dimensions and straightforward usability that have long defined the Corolla name. Finished in black and fitted with a 1.8-litre petrol engine, it combines familiar everyday manners with the convenience of an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The ZR specification gives this Corolla a more substantial equipment list than an entry-level model. Its 17-inch alloy wheels and body kit add visual distinction, while LED headlamps, daytime running lamps and front fog lamps provide useful lighting hardware. The hatchback body style also keeps the car compact and easy to place in traffic while retaining a versatile rear load area.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black with partial leather seats and heated front seats. Two-zone climate control supports a more comfortable environment for occupants, and keyless start with proximity entry adds convenience to regular trips. The five-seat layout makes the car suitable for carrying passengers, while the hatchback format offers useful flexibility for shopping, luggage and day-to-day errands.

Connectivity and equipment are well covered for a vehicle of this age. Bluetooth, USB and auxiliary inputs, MP3 capability, an iPod input and a six-speaker stereo provide several ways to access audio. Satellite navigation is also listed, along with steering-wheel-mounted gearshift paddles and cruise control. A rear vision camera helps with parking and reversing, complementing the Corolla's compact footprint.

Safety equipment includes a five-star ANCAP safety rating, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, electronic stability control, traction control and hill-holder functionality. The airbag package includes front, side and curtain protection, as well as a driver's knee airbag. These features provide a strong foundation for everyday driving and add reassurance in varied traffic conditions.

The vehicle is advertised with 95,756 kilometres, a 50-litre fuel tank and claimed fuel consumption of 6 L/100km. Its 173 Nm of torque and continuously variable automatic transmission are oriented toward smooth, uncomplicated driving rather than manual interaction, making the Corolla easy to operate in urban conditions and on longer journeys.
