Vehicle Overview

This 2019 Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport brings the practicality and approachable character associated with the Corolla name into a sharper, more contemporary hatchback package. Its white exterior, compact dimensions and five-door layout make it straightforward to live with, while the Ascent Sport treatment adds a more purposeful visual edge.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with an automatic transmission. The combination is suited to everyday driving, with the hatchback body providing useful versatility for passengers, shopping and general urban use. Five seats and split-folding rear seating further support the Corolla's practical role without making the car feel unnecessarily large.

The cabin is designed around convenience, with sports front seats, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity and a 7-inch touchscreen display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide familiar smartphone integration, while the reversing camera helps improve visibility when manoeuvring in tighter spaces. Keyless entry and push-button start add further ease to routine trips.

Safety and driver assistance equipment is a strong part of the specification. Toyota Safety Sense features include pre-collision safety technology, lane departure alert, lane trace assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam and road sign assist. LED headlights and a reversing camera complement the electronic systems, giving the Corolla a well-rounded equipment list for its class.
