Vehicle Overview

1997 Subaru WRX Type R STi Version.

This 1997 Subaru WRX STi Type R is presented in feather white and combines the compact, focused character associated with Subaru's performance range with the involvement of a manual transmission. The Type R designation gives this car a distinctive place within the WRX family, appealing to enthusiasts who value a more specialised performance model rather than a conventional everyday specification.

Its manual gearbox provides a direct connection between driver and car, while the compact WRX format makes the vehicle visually purposeful and easy to appreciate as a period performance model. The feather white finish adds a clean, understated contrast to the car's sporting identity.

The vehicle has been fully complied and is ready to register in Australia. As a 1997 model, it represents an earlier chapter of Subaru's WRX STi lineage, with the appeal of a classic Japanese performance car and the character of a three-pedal enthusiast vehicle.
