Vehicle Overview

2016 Toyota Hiace DX 4WD.

This 2016 Toyota Hiace Long DX 4WD combines the practical strengths of a commercial van with the added traction of four-wheel drive. Its diesel engine and automatic transmission provide a straightforward powertrain for regular transport duties, while the van body offers a useful balance of passenger space and load-carrying flexibility.

With three seats, a large cargo area and five-door access listed in the vehicle description, the Hiace is configured primarily around accessible, usable space rather than car-like presentation. That makes it well suited to carrying equipment, supplies or bulky items, with the generous rear compartment providing room to organise a working load. Air conditioning, power steering and power windows add everyday convenience, while central locking supports simple operation around town or at a worksite.

The four-wheel-drive system is the defining feature of this Hiace. It adds capability when operating on unsealed surfaces or in conditions where additional traction is useful, broadening the van's practicality beyond ordinary urban routes. The automatic transmission further reduces the effort involved in stop-start driving and manoeuvring with a loaded cabin or cargo area.

Inside, the equipment list focuses on useful functionality. Dual SRS airbags and ABS provide core occupant and braking safety systems, while a rear mirror, rear wiper and AM/FM radio contribute to visibility and convenience. The layout also leaves scope for adapting the van to different purposes, including the separately available camper kit, which is designed around a folding sleeping platform, kitchen workspace and under-bed storage.

As a used commercial vehicle, this Hiace presents a functional combination of diesel efficiency, automatic driving and four-wheel-drive versatility. Its appeal lies in the adaptable cargo space and robust van format, with the interior able to remain focused on transport work or be configured for recreational travel depending on the owner's needs.
