Vehicle Overview

2014 Hyundai ix35 Series II SE Wagon 5dr Spts Auto 6sp 2.0i.

The 2014 Hyundai ix35 Series II SE is a practical medium-sized wagon with an upright driving position, useful cabin space and the everyday flexibility expected of a family-oriented SUV. Its five-door layout makes access straightforward, while the split-fold rear seat and cargo cover allow the interior to be adapted for passengers, shopping or larger items.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 122 kW and 205 Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive keeps the mechanical layout familiar and efficient for normal road use, while the automatic gearbox is well suited to commuting and stop-start traffic. Hill-holder assistance, hill-descent control and electronic stability programming add useful support across changing road conditions.

The SE specification combines comfort-focused equipment with practical technology. Leather-accented upholstery, heated front seats, a powered driver’s seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel give the cabin a more substantial feel, while air conditioning and cruise control support relaxed longer-distance travel. Adjustable front and rear head restraints, illuminated vanity mirrors and storage features such as front and rear cup holders contribute to everyday convenience.

Rear parking assistance is supported by a reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors, helping provide greater awareness when manoeuvring in tight spaces. The vehicle also includes a multifunction control screen, trip computer and auto-dimming rear-view mirror. Audio connectivity is covered by Bluetooth-style mobile phone connectivity, an AUX/USB input, MP3-compatible CD audio and a six-speaker radio system.

Outside, the ix35 presents a clean white finish with roof rails, a rear spoiler, body-coloured mirrors and chrome door handles. Heated, folding mirrors with integrated indicators add useful visibility and convenience, while automatic lights, LED daytime running lights and front fog lights provide additional lighting functionality. Seventeen-inch alloy wheels and a full-size alloy spare complete the equipment package.

Safety equipment includes front, side and head airbags, anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, traction control, electronic stability programming, an engine immobiliser and remote central locking. Child-seat anchor points and lap-sash belts for all seating positions further support the vehicle’s practical passenger-carrying role. With 119,010 kilometres displayed and a stated good condition, this ix35 offers a balanced combination of usable space, straightforward petrol power and well-rounded equipment.
