Vehicle Overview

2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 C300 Sedan 4dr 9G-TRONIC 9sp 2.0T.

This 2019 Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 C300 combines the compact proportions of a premium sedan with a well-resolved mix of performance, comfort and technology. Its white exterior gives the car a clean, understated presence, while the C300 designation is backed by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 155 kW and 350 Nm. Power is delivered through a nine-speed 9G-TRONIC sports automatic transmission to the rear wheels.

The drivetrain is suited to both relaxed cruising and more engaged driving. The broad spread of ratios allows the engine to settle into an efficient rhythm on longer trips, while paddle shifters and Mercedes-Benz Dynamic Select provide additional control when the road becomes more interesting. Listed outputs include a 0–100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds, giving the sedan useful pace without compromising its everyday usability.

Inside, the C-Class has a distinctly upmarket focus. Leather upholstery, a leather steering wheel, aluminium trim and ambient interior lighting create a polished environment, while power front seats and lumbar adjustment help tailor the driving position. Dual-zone automatic climate control adds comfort for occupants, and the split-fold rear seat gives the cabin greater flexibility when carrying larger items.

Its technology package is particularly practical for contemporary driving. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, voice recognition and a multi-function control screen make it straightforward to stay connected and find destinations. A digital instrument cluster, reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors improve visibility in busy areas, while the power boot lid and hands-free access add convenience to everyday loading.

Safety and driver-assistance equipment includes active blind-spot assistance, active lane-keeping assistance, active distance assistance, traffic-jam assistance and active park assistance. Attention Assist, automatic emergency calling, multiple airbags, electronic stability control and tyre-pressure-loss warning further broaden the car's protective systems. LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, heated folding mirrors and rear privacy glass round out the sedan's useful equipment.
