Vehicle Overview

2014 Volkswagen Multivan T5 TDI400 Comfortline Wagon 7st 4dr DSG 7sp 2.0DTT [MY15].

The Volkswagen Multivan occupies a useful middle ground between a conventional people mover and a large family wagon, combining a practical seven-seat cabin with the upright driving position and load-carrying flexibility expected from a Volkswagen van-based vehicle. This 2014 T5 TDI400 Comfortline is finished in white and pairs its spacious body with a diesel engine and dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Its 2.0-litre turbo-diesel produces 132 kW and 400 Nm, with the torque delivered from 1500 rpm. That output suits a vehicle designed to carry passengers and luggage, while the seven-speed sports automatic dual-clutch transmission provides a straightforward driving experience. Front-wheel drive keeps the drivetrain layout familiar and efficient in everyday use.

The seven-seat configuration is the defining strength of the Multivan. It provides genuine room for occupants while retaining the versatility expected of a large wagon, and the split-fold rear seating, cargo cover and tie-down points help the interior adapt when passenger capacity is not the priority. Front and rear bottle holders, cup holders, grab handles and interior lighting add practical touches for regular family or group travel.

Comfort equipment includes multi-zone climate control and cruise control, while the cloth-trimmed interior is complemented by a leather steering wheel and leather gear knob. Power windows, power mirrors, heated exterior mirrors, rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror contribute to a more convenient daily routine. The listed audio system includes radio, CD, eight speakers, MP3 compatibility, mobile-phone connectivity and an AUX/USB input.

Safety and driver assistance equipment includes front, side and head airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, anti-lock braking, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking distance control and child-seat anchor points. A reversing camera and front and rear parking sensors are listed as optional equipment, so their presence should be confirmed separately.

The vehicle has travelled 241,711 kilometres and is listed in excellent condition. Its 80-litre fuel tank, full-size alloy spare wheel and 2000-kilogram braked towing capacity add useful long-distance and load-carrying capability, while 17-inch alloy wheels are fitted. With its combination of passenger space, flexible seating and diesel torque, this Multivan is a practical choice for drivers who need more versatility than a standard wagon can provide.
