BYD SHARK 6 Performance

The BYD SHARK 6 Performance is a plug-in hybrid utility vehicle that combines a turbocharged petrol engine with battery-electric capability and an all-wheel-drive system. Its configuration is aimed at providing the flexibility of a conventional ute while retaining the ability to use external charging and electric assistance during everyday driving.

At the centre of the Performance specification is a 2.0-litre turbo high-power engine, with quoted system outputs of 350kW and 700Nm of torque. Charging is available through a 7kW AC connection, while DC charging is supported at up to 55kW through a CCS2 connection. This gives owners more than one way to replenish the battery, depending on the available charging equipment and journey requirements. The vehicle’s hybrid powertrain therefore supports both regular overnight charging and longer trips where the petrol engine and fuel tank provide additional operating flexibility.

The selected exterior finish is Great White, complemented by a Thaumas Black interior. Eighteen-inch alloy wheels are included in the configuration. The design also allows the SHARK 6 to be tailored with a range of accessories, including load-carrying and protective equipment, although those items are not included in this selected specification unless separately added to the order.
