Type 2 AC and CCS2 DC connections provide compatibility with common home, workplace and public charging infrastructure, while regenerative charging contributes to the vehicle's efficiency in stop-start driving.

The G6's SUV body provides a useful balance between passenger space and cargo flexibility. With five doors and seating for five, it is well suited to varied daily duties, while the luggage area offers 571 litres of minimum capacity and up to 1,374 litres with the rear seats folded. Its 1,920 mm width and 2,890 mm wheelbase point to a substantial cabin, and the electric power steering, selectable drive modes and active traction control support straightforward control in a range of conditions.

Inside, the black interior combines comfort-focused equipment with a strong technology emphasis. Heated electric seats, adjustable lumbar support, a heated steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control help make the cabin more accommodating across changing weather. A tinted sunroof adds light to the passenger compartment, while proximity entry, app-based keyless access, power-folding heated mirrors and a 12V outlet add convenience to regular use.

Connectivity is well covered through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, wireless device charging, USB ports and digital radio. The digital instrument cluster and voice recognition system keep key information and functions accessible, while the listed 18-speaker stereo gives the cabin a clear entertainment focus. Fully automatic and remote parking assistance, graphical parking assistance and a reversing camera are intended to reduce the effort involved in manoeuvring in tighter spaces.

Safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and rear cross-traffic alert. Rear collision warning, safe-exit warning, driver alert and rear occupancy alert add further layers of awareness around the vehicle.
