2026 RANGER 1000 PREMIUM

The 2026 Polaris RANGER 1000 Premium is a three-seat utility side-by-side designed to combine practical load-carrying ability with the control and protection needed for regular off-road use. Its 999 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine produces 61 HP, with the power delivery shaped around low-speed work as much as general trail travel.

Work capability is central to the package. The cargo box is rated to carry 454 kg, while the vehicle has a 680 kg payload capacity and a 1,134 kg hitch towing rating. A standard 5 cm receiver supports trailer use, and the 43-litre fuel tank helps provide useful operating capacity between refuelling stops. The Lock & Ride cargo system is intended to make it easier to configure the vehicle for changing loads and tasks.

The drivetrain offers selectable high-performance on-demand all-wheel drive, two-wheel drive and VersaTrac Turf Mode. That range of modes gives the driver flexibility across loose surfaces, tighter turns and maintained areas, with Turf Mode designed to reduce the potential for scuffing the ground during low-speed manoeuvres. The Gen 2 automatic PVT transmission provides high, low, neutral, reverse and park positions, with shaft final drive.

Ground clearance is listed at 31.75 cm, supported by independent dual A-arm suspension at both ends with 25.4 cm of travel. The 26-inch PXT 2 tyres are fitted to 12-inch aluminium wheels, while four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes provide braking control. Full-coverage skid protection, A-arm guards and a large steel bumper add protection beneath and around the vehicle when operating near uneven ground or trail debris.

Premium equipment focuses on reducing effort and extending usability through a working day. High-output electronic power steering assists with low-speed direction changes, while the three-person bench seat includes a three-point harness and an adjustable driver’s seat. A tilt steering wheel, plush seat cushions, cab nets and a factory-installed roof contribute to a more sheltered and manageable driving environment.

Visibility is supported by dual LED headlights, with a 600-lumen low beam and 1,000-lumen high beam, together with LED taillights. The 4-inch LCD rider information centre presents vehicle information including speed, engine speed, odometer, trip distance, time, engine hours, gear position, fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage and service information. A 12-volt accessory outlet, battery trickle-charging port and 660-watt charging system add practical electrical support.

A factory-installed 2,041 kg winch uses synthetic rope and includes Auto Stop and a wireless remote. This provides an integrated recovery and pulling solution for situations where additional assistance is required. Combined with the vehicle’s towing, payload and drivetrain systems, it gives the RANGER 1000 Premium a broad specification for property work, equipment transport and off-road utility duties.
