The 2024 Polaris RANGER CREW XD 1500 PREMIUM is a six-seat extreme-duty side-by-side designed to combine substantial working capability with a more considered level of occupant comfort. Its long-wheelbase Crew layout provides seating for six, while the extended chassis and high ground clearance are intended to make demanding off-road access and load-carrying tasks more manageable.

At the centre of the package is a 1498cc three-cylinder ProStar engine producing 110 HP. The STEELDRIVE automatic transmission uses a fully sealed, liquid-cooled steel belt system, with drive, reverse and park selected through a conventional automatic arrangement. Its electronically controlled operation is designed to provide predictable low-speed control, which is useful when positioning near a trailer, negotiating uneven ground or manoeuvring around working areas.

Capability is supported by selectable drive modes including Comfort, Standard, Sport and Tow/Haul, along with an on-demand drivetrain offering AWD, 2WD, Turf and Ultra Turf settings. Hill Assist and drive-mode-specific engine braking add further control on inclines and descents. The vehicle is rated to tow up to 1,588 kg and has a 680 kg dump-box capacity, while its stated payload capacity is 957 kg.

The cargo box and Lock & Ride MAX system are central to the RANGER’s practical appeal. Accessories can be configured without tools, allowing the load area and storage arrangements to be adapted to different jobs. A 51.5-litre fuel capacity supports extended use between refuelling stops, while the standard 5 cm receiver broadens its trailer compatibility.

Off-road hardware includes 38 cm of ground clearance, 30.5 cm of suspension travel at both ends and 29-inch Pro Armor X-Terrain tyres mounted on 14-inch aluminium wheels. Dual A-arm front suspension and dual arched A-arm independent rear suspension are paired with power-assisted four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Together, these features give the Crew model the mechanical basis to carry people and equipment across rutted or uneven terrain.

The Premium specification places particular emphasis on the cab. Contoured seats feature additional bolstering, and the centre seat can fold down to form an armrest with cupholders. A roof with liner, premium steering wheel and interior accents, high-output electronic power steering, LED lighting and a 4-inch colour display add convenience for longer periods behind the wheel. The display provides vehicle information including speed, engine speed, fuel level, coolant temperature, operating hours and service information.
