2024 RANGER XP KINETIC PREMIUM

The 2024 Polaris RANGER XP Kinetic Premium brings electric power to the utility side-by-side category without stepping away from the practical requirements of off-road work. Its electric powertrain combines a 110 HP peak-output motor with strong low-speed response and regenerative braking, creating a drivetrain that is well suited to hauling, towing and controlled progress across uneven ground.

Power is delivered through a high-performance on-demand system that can operate in true all-wheel drive, two-wheel drive or VersaTrac Turf Mode. That flexibility allows the vehicle to be adapted to changing surfaces and tasks, while 35.6 cm of ground clearance and dual A-arm suspension at both ends provide useful clearance and wheel travel for rough terrain. Four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes and electronic power steering add confidence when manoeuvring with a load or negotiating tighter working areas.

The RANGER XP Kinetic Premium is designed to carry useful equipment as well as people. Its dump box is rated for 567 kg, while the standard receiver and drivetrain support a towing capacity of 1,134 kg. A payload capacity of 680 kg gives the vehicle additional versatility for transporting materials, tools or supplies. The Lock & Ride cargo system is intended to make the tray and accessories easier to configure for different jobs, and a 12V SAE cargo-box outlet with an in-dash switch provides a convenient power source for compatible equipment.

Electric operation changes the character of the vehicle as much as its running gear. The motor produces clean, quiet operation, while the lithium-ion battery and regenerative braking are integrated into a system that can be charged using the supplied Type 2 combined Level 1/Level 2 mobile charging equipment. The Premium specification uses a 14.9 kWh nominal battery, a factory-installed 3 kW onboard charger and a manufacturer-estimated range of up to 70 km. Actual range will vary with terrain, weather, speed, payload, acceleration and usage, so operating conditions remain important when planning longer trips.

Protection has been considered for demanding off-road environments. A full-body skid plate, full-coverage front bumper and integrated winch and plough mounts help shield the vehicle and support the installation of useful work accessories. LED headlamps, LED tail lamps and a charge-indicating front accent light improve visibility and make the vehicle's operating status easier to identify.

Inside, the three-seat layout is paired with premium cut-and-sew seats, contoured seatbacks, a premium steering wheel and practical storage throughout the cabin. The driver's display provides information including battery state of charge, remaining range, power use, regenerative braking, temperatures, speed, trip data and service information. Dual USB ports, DC outlets and the cargo-box power connection add everyday convenience, while the vehicle's proportions and turning radius are suited to work sites where access and manoeuvrability matter.
