The 2026 Isuzu D-MAX X-Rider Crew Cab is a new-generation dual-cab ute that combines a practical five-seat layout with the hardware expected of a serious four-wheel-drive. Finished in Obsidian Grey, it has the everyday versatility to serve as a work vehicle while retaining the equipment and cabin space required for family use and weekend travel.

Its 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine produces 120 kW and 400 Nm, with the torque delivery suited to carrying duties, towing and low-speed off-road work. The eight-speed sports automatic transmission is designed to make the D-MAX straightforward to drive in traffic while providing a broad spread of ratios for changing conditions. Four-wheel drive, a dual-range transfer case and Terrain Command Control add useful flexibility when surfaces become loose or uneven, while the rear differential lock, hill descent control and hill-start assist support controlled progress away from sealed roads.

Practicality is central to the X-Rider’s appeal. Keyless entry, power windows, power mirrors and a manually adjustable six-way driver’s seat complete a straightforward, hard-wearing cabin specification.

Safety equipment is extensive, with a five-star ANCAP rating listed for the vehicle and a broad suite of driver-assistance systems.
