The 2026 Mitsubishi Triton GLX+ is a practical double-cab utility designed to combine everyday usability with genuine four-wheel-drive capability. Finished in Blade Silver, this new Triton pairs a 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine with a six-speed sports automatic transmission, delivering 150 kW and 470 Nm. Its 4x4 system and Easy Select 4WD give it the versatility to move between sealed roads and more demanding surfaces, while the rear differential lock and trailer stability control add useful support when traction and control matter.

With four doors and seating for five, the double-cab layout is suited to carrying passengers without giving up the open cargo area that makes a ute useful for work, recreation and larger loads. Cargo tie-down hooks, front and rear mud flaps, side steps, underbody protection and a rear step bumper all contribute to its practical character. The soft-open and assisted tailgate features are designed to make access to the tray more convenient, while the stated towing capacity of 3,500 kg and payload of more than one tonne broaden its working credentials.
