The 2026 Aion V Luxury is a spacious electric SUV that combines long-distance usability with an unusually strong focus on cabin comfort. Its electric powertrain is paired with a 75.3kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a claimed driving range of up to 510km under WLTP testing, giving the vehicle the capacity to handle everyday travel and longer journeys without relying on petrol.

A 150kW front-mounted electric motor drives the front wheels through an automatic transmission. The layout is straightforward and efficient, while rapid charging support of up to 180kW is designed to reduce waiting time during longer trips. Vehicle-to-load capability also allows the battery to supply power to external appliances, adding practical flexibility away from home.

The Luxury grade places considerable emphasis on making time in the cabin more relaxing. Both front seats feature eight-point massage functions, along with heating and ventilation. A built-in 6.6-litre refrigerator in the centre console can cool contents to -15 degrees Celsius or warm them to 50 degrees Celsius, a distinctive feature for road trips and day-to-day convenience. The rear seats recline to 137 degrees, include heating and are complemented by integrated second-row tray tables.

Interior technology is centred on a 14.6-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, supported by a nine-speaker sound system. A panoramic sunroof and powered sunshade bring additional light into the cabin, while the front seats can recline fully flat to create a more versatile interior layout. The hands-free power liftgate is another useful touch, making access to the cargo area easier when carrying bags or equipment.

Safety and driver assistance equipment includes a five-star ANCAP safety rating, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assistance and adaptive speed limiting with road-sign recognition. A 360-degree surround-view camera works with front and rear parking sensors to improve visibility when manoeuvring, while ABS and multiple airbags provide further occupant protection.
