Vehicle Overview

The 2020 Hyundai Venue Elite is a compact SUV that combines a relatively small footprint with the practical, upright shape that makes this class so useful. Its five-door layout and five-seat cabin are suited to everyday errands, while the elevated driving position and compact dimensions make it straightforward to place in urban traffic and tighter parking spaces.

This QX.2 Elite is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 151 Nm of torque and paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive keeps the mechanical layout simple, while selectable driving modes, hill-holder assistance and cruise control add flexibility to routine journeys. The listed fuel consumption is 7 L/100km, supported by a 45-litre fuel tank.

Inside, the Venue offers a functional cabin with climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver's seat and a split-folding second row. The 355-litre boot provides useful luggage space for a vehicle of this size, with the rear seats able to expand its carrying flexibility when required. Rear privacy glass, roof rails and 17-inch alloy wheels add to its practical and distinctive presentation.

Technology is a strong part of the Elite specification. The vehicle includes an eight-inch colour multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, digital radio, satellite navigation and a rear-view camera. Wireless smartphone charging, a partial digital instrument display and a multifunction steering wheel help keep commonly used information and controls within easy reach.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability and traction control, forward collision warning with collision mitigation, lane departure warning, active lane-keeping assistance, driver attention monitoring and automatic high-beam assistance. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic warning provide additional support when changing lanes or reversing, while rear parking sensors and a graphical parking display assist with low-speed manoeuvring. The vehicle is listed with a four-star ANCAP safety rating.
