Vehicle Overview

This 2022 Volkswagen Passat 140TSI Business B8 is a spacious four-door sedan with a refined, practical character and the long-distance composure associated with the Passat name. Finished in grey, it combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. With 62,104km recorded, it presents as a well-equipped used vehicle with a specification focused on comfort, connectivity and everyday convenience.

The Passat's sedan body provides a substantial cabin for five occupants while retaining a clean, understated exterior profile. Partial leather seating, heated front seats and electrically adjustable front seats add comfort for regular commuting or longer journeys. The driver's seat includes memory and massage functions, while dual-zone climate control, rear air conditioning and a cooled glovebox help make the interior more accommodating across changing conditions.

Technology is well covered, with satellite navigation, a colour display, digital radio, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and smartphone integration through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The multi-function steering wheel and digital trip information allow commonly used controls to remain close at hand, while keyless proximity locking and keyless start simplify everyday use. A reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and automated parking assistance are useful additions when manoeuvring the sedan in tighter spaces.

Safety equipment extends beyond the basic essentials. The Passat includes front, side, curtain and driver knee airbags, electronic stability and traction control, brake assist, forward collision warning with low-speed collision mitigation, rearward collision warning and pedestrian avoidance with braking. Lane departure warning and active lane keeping assistance support the driver on longer trips, while adaptive distance cruise control and a speed limiter help manage highway travel. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic warning provide additional awareness when changing lanes or reversing.

On the outside, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and LED tail lamps give the Passat a contemporary appearance. Heated, folding and electrically adjustable door mirrors, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers and heated washer jets add useful all-weather functionality. The full-size alloy spare wheel and split-folding rear seats contribute practical flexibility, particularly when carrying a mixture of passengers and luggage.

With its 2.0-litre petrol drivetrain, automatic transmission, five-seat layout and broad suite of comfort and driver-assistance features, this Passat offers a balanced alternative for motorists seeking a well-appointed mid-size sedan. Its equipment list places particular emphasis on supportive seating, connected travel and parking convenience, while the substantial cabin and foldable rear seatbacks broaden its everyday usefulness.
