Vehicle Overview

This 2019 Honda CR-V VTi is a practical five-seat SUV with the space, everyday ease and thoughtful equipment that make the format so useful. Finished in red and showing 79,039 km, it combines a compact turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine with an automatic continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. The result is a straightforward configuration suited to regular urban driving, longer commutes and the flexible demands of daily life.

The CR-V’s cabin is designed around usability rather than unnecessary complexity. Five seats provide room for passengers, while the second row can be split-folded to make better use of the rear load area when carrying larger items. A cargo cover adds a degree of privacy for stored belongings, and roof rails extend the vehicle’s carrying flexibility for appropriately equipped loads. The 4596 mm body length gives the CR-V a useful road presence without moving beyond the manageable footprint expected of a mid-size SUV.

Comfort equipment includes two-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, an auxiliary USB input and an eight-speaker stereo. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay provide a convenient way to access compatible phone functions through the vehicle’s display, while the multifunction steering wheel helps keep commonly used controls close to the driver. Keyless proximity locking and keyless start add convenience during frequent stops, and the height-adjustable driver’s seat allows the driving position to be tailored more easily.

There is also a strong practical focus to the exterior and driving equipment. The 17-inch alloy wheels complement the SUV’s styling, while folding power mirrors, LED daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps and a rear roof spoiler provide useful everyday functionality. Cruise control and a speed limiter can help make longer journeys less demanding, while the reversing camera and graphical parking display assist with low-speed manoeuvring.

Safety equipment is comprehensive for a vehicle of this age, including a five-star ANCAP safety rating, ABS, electronic stability and traction control, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution, hill-holder assistance and trailer-sway control. Driver attention detection, tyre-pressure monitoring, a speed alert and front and side airbags add further layers of support. The combination of a clear driving position, reversing assistance and predictable front-wheel-drive layout makes the CR-V easy to place in typical day-to-day conditions.
