The BYD SEALION 6 Premium Extended is a plug-in hybrid SUV configured to combine electric driving capability with the flexibility of a petrol engine. Its powertrain pairs a new-generation BYD Blade Battery with a 1.5L turbocharged Xiaoyun engine, producing a stated maximum 253kW and 550Nm. With all-wheel drive and a quoted 0–100km/h time of 5.5 seconds, this is the performance-oriented version of the SEALION 6 range.

As a plug-in hybrid, the SEALION 6 is designed to support regular charging while retaining a 60-litre fuel tank for longer journeys. The configuration supports AC charging at up to 7kW and DC charging via an 18kW CCS 2 connection, giving owners flexibility between home charging and public charging locations. The combination of electric and petrol power is suited to drivers who want to incorporate charging into their routine without relying solely on access to charging infrastructure for extended trips.

This specification is presented in Arctic White with a black interior and standard 19-inch alloy wheels.
