The 2025 Audi Q5 SUV e-hybrid combines the practicality of a premium mid-size SUV with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. Power is delivered through a seven-speed S tronic transmission, providing the smooth automatic operation expected of a modern luxury SUV. The quattro system uses ultra technology and is designed to distribute drive through all four wheels when required. Alongside the hybrid propulsion system, this gives the Q5 a broad range of capability without changing its fundamentally composed and practical SUV character.

The figures are substantial for a vehicle of this size, with a stated 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 5.1 seconds. At the same time, the plug-in hybrid layout offers an alternative to relying solely on the petrol engine, subject to charging access and driving conditions. The vehicle is certified to Euro 6e emissions standards.

Inside, the cabin blends leather and artificial leather upholstery with S embossing, sport front seats and electrically adjustable front seating. Front seat heating and four-way lumbar support add useful comfort for daily use, while the flat-top and flat-bottom three-spoke sport leather steering wheel incorporates multifunction controls and shift paddles. A black cloth headlining and matt brushed aluminium inlays with linear embossing create a purposeful, contemporary interior treatment.

Technology is supported by the MMI experience pro package and an Audi Application Store with smartphone interface. The phone compartment includes inductive charging, while Audi connect navigation and infotainment services are complemented by emergency call, service, remote and control functions. A panoramic glass sunroof brings additional light into the cabin, with privacy glass helping to moderate the environment for occupants.

The equipment specification also includes LED headlights plus, a convenience key without Safelock, auxiliary air conditioning and a storage and luggage compartment package. Practical touches include convenience opening for the luggage compartment lid and black roof rails. Exterior detailing is sharpened by S line bumpers, dark window trim and black exterior mirror housings, while 20-inch Audi Sport alloy wheels use a five-twin-spoke design with a black metallic, gloss-turned finish.

Driver assistance and safety-related equipment includes lane departure warning with emergency assist and a traffic sign-based speed limiter. Red brake calipers and S sport suspension reinforce the vehicle’s dynamic specification, while the combination of SUV proportions, all-wheel drive, hybrid propulsion and flexible cabin equipment gives the Q5 e-hybrid a well-rounded place in Audi’s current range.
