Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron

The 2024 Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron 55 quattro combines a distinctly streamlined Sportback profile with fully electric power and Audi’s quattro drive system. Its 300 kW output and 664 Nm of torque provide the substantial performance expected of a large premium electric vehicle, while the single-speed, two-stage planetary gearbox is designed around the smooth and immediate delivery characteristic of electric propulsion.

This example uses a lithium-ion battery and is specified with automatic transmission and quattro drive. The published technical data records a top speed of 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds, reducing to 5.6 seconds in boost mode. Those figures give the Q8 Sportback e-tron strong high-speed capability without compromising the quiet, straightforward operation that defines an electric vehicle.

Practicality remains an important part of the package. The luggage compartment offers 528 litres of capacity, expanding to 1,567 litres when the rear seating area is configured for additional cargo space. An electric rear tailgate with programmable opening height and gesture control makes access easier, while the storage and luggage compartment package adds further day-to-day versatility. Preparation for a ball-mount trailer hitch is also included.

The cabin pairs sports front seats with heated front-seat functionality, electric adjustment and memory functionality for the driver’s seat. Dinamica and artificial leather upholstery with embossed S detailing gives the interior a clearly focused character, complemented by matt brushed aluminium inlays, illuminated aluminium door-sill trims and multicolour ambient lighting. A heated multifunction sport leather steering wheel with shift paddles and an S emblem continues the driver-oriented theme.

Technology is centred on convenience, visibility and occupant assistance. A head-up display helps keep key information within the driver’s sightline, while 360-degree cameras and park assist plus support manoeuvring in confined spaces. The vehicle also includes a multifunction camera, Audi pre sense rear, high-beam assist and LED headlamps with separate daytime running lights.
