Vehicle Overview

2017 Hyundai Kona ACTIVE (FWD).

This 2017 Hyundai Kona Active is a compact SUV with a practical five-seat cabin, petrol power and front-wheel drive. Its relatively compact footprint suits everyday urban driving, while the raised SUV stance and flexible interior give it useful versatility for commuting, errands and weekend travel.

The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 110 kW and is paired with an automatic transmission, making the Kona straightforward to operate in varied traffic conditions. With 60,236 km displayed, the vehicle presents as a well-used example of Hyundai's distinctive small SUV. The grey exterior is complemented by premium paint, roof rails and 16-inch alloy wheels, giving the Kona a purposeful appearance while retaining a manageable overall size.

Inside, the five-seat layout is designed around everyday usability. Split-fold rear seating helps adapt the cabin when passengers and luggage need to share space, while air conditioning, adjustable front seats and a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel support comfort across longer drives. A leather steering wheel and leather-accented gear knob add a more considered touch to the driver's surroundings.

Connectivity is a strong part of the equipment package. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide a familiar way to access compatible navigation, media and phone functions, supported by Bluetooth connectivity, a multifunction control screen and a six-speaker sound system. Cruise control further reduces effort on open roads, while the rear-view camera and rear parking sensors provide useful assistance when manoeuvring into tighter spaces.

Safety and convenience equipment includes front, curtain and thorax airbags, electronic stability control, anti-lock braking, brake assist, hill-start assist and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. ISOFIX anchorage and child-seat anchor points add flexibility for family use. Automatic lights, daytime-running LED lights, remote central locking and a space-saver spare wheel round out the practical specification.
