Vehicle Overview

The 2024 Hyundai Kona SX2.V2 is a compact SUV with a distinctive MIRAGE GREEN exterior, a petrol engine and the everyday practicality of five doors and five seats. With 32,360km recorded, this used Kona combines a relatively compact footprint with a well-equipped cabin and a layout designed for a broad range of urban and regional driving needs.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with an automatic continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. The published combined fuel-consumption figure is 6.0L/100km, while a 47-litre fuel tank supports straightforward longer-distance use without requiring an especially large vehicle. Its 1,885kg listed weight and compact SUV dimensions give it a manageable road presence, with a length of 4,350mm and width of 1,825mm.

The cabin is configured for five occupants, with split-folding rear seats providing flexibility when passenger space needs to make room for larger items. Practical touches include cargo tie-down hooks, a cargo organiser, a cargo net and bottle holders in both rows. Roof rails add further versatility for carrying suitable external equipment, while the auxiliary 12V socket and USB charging provision support day-to-day convenience.

Technology is a prominent part of the specification. A colour multifunction control screen works alongside Bluetooth connectivity, digital radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing compatible devices to integrate with the vehicle's infotainment system. Wireless charging is also listed for compatible devices. The six-speaker stereo and multifunction steering wheel help keep common controls and entertainment functions within easy reach.

Comfort equipment includes two-zone climate control, remote-start climate operation, height adjustment for both front seats and electric lumbar adjustment for the driver. The steering wheel and gear knob are leather-appointed, while the interior also features cloth trim, front and rear armrests, illuminated vanity mirrors and a partially digital instrument display. Heated and folding power door mirrors, automatic LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and LED tail lamps add useful visibility and convenience.

The safety specification includes a rear-view camera, front and rear parking distance control, blind-spot monitoring with active assistance, forward collision warning and collision mitigation. Lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control with distance control, road-sign recognition, driver-attention detection and rear cross-traffic warnings extend the driver-assistance package. Hill-holder, electronic stability control, traction control, ABS and brake assist are also listed, together with airbags covering the front occupants, front-centre position, side positions and head protection across both rows.
