2026 GWM Haval Jolion Vanta A02

The 2026 GWM Haval Jolion Vanta A02 is a compact SUV that combines a contemporary shape with the everyday practicality expected of a five-seat family vehicle. Finished in Hamilton White, this new example has travelled just 11km and pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive keeps the mechanical package straightforward, while the Jolion's SUV proportions provide useful cabin space without moving into a larger-vehicle footprint.

Its 1.5-litre engine produces 270Nm of torque, giving the Jolion a responsive foundation for urban driving and open-road travel. The listed combined fuel consumption is 6.0L/100km, supported by an engine stop-start system designed to reduce unnecessary idling. Selectable driving modes allow the driver to tailor the vehicle's responses, while distance-control cruise control and lead-vehicle start assistance can make longer trips less demanding.

The Vanta specification places a strong emphasis on comfort and convenience. The cabin includes climate control with two-zone adjustment, rear air conditioning, heated front seats and electrically adjustable front seats. Leather-look upholstery and a leather-look steering wheel add a more substantial feel to the interior, while ambient lighting, a full digital instrument display, a colour multifunction control screen and a head-up information display help keep key information accessible. Bluetooth connectivity, USB audio input and a six-speaker stereo provide practical options for staying connected and entertained.

With five seats and a 4,470mm body length, the Jolion offers a useful balance between passenger accommodation and manoeuvrability. A cargo cover, rear centre armrest and cup holders in both seating rows add day-to-day versatility. The 18-inch alloy wheels give the exterior a confident stance, complemented by LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, folding heated exterior mirrors and a black grille. Keyless start and remote central locking add convenience when loading passengers or shopping.

Safety and driver assistance equipment is extensive for a vehicle of this size. Front, side and curtain airbags are supported by ABS, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, electronic stability control, traction control and rollover stability control. Forward and rear collision warnings, forward collision mitigation, reversing collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring with active assist, lane-departure warning and active lane keeping provide additional support in busy traffic. Front, rear and side cameras, front and rear parking sensors, graphical parking assistance and automated steering assistance are designed to improve visibility and confidence when positioning the vehicle.
