Vehicle Overview

The 2024 Kia EV5 Earth OVc is a practical electric SUV with the space and versatility expected of a family-oriented vehicle, combined with the quiet, low-emission character of an electric drivetrain. Its five-seat cabin and SUV body make it suited to everyday transport, while the four-wheel-drive system adds useful capability when conditions become less predictable or travel extends beyond sealed roads.

With 12,326km recorded, this used EV5 presents as a relatively lightly travelled example of Kia's electric SUV. The automatic transmission keeps operation straightforward, while the electric powertrain removes the need for conventional fuel and engine maintenance associated with petrol or diesel vehicles. Its unregistered status is noted in the vehicle information and should be considered as part of the purchase process.

The Earth OVc specification includes a selection of equipment aimed at making regular driving more comfortable and convenient. Climate control helps maintain a consistent cabin temperature, while heated seats add comfort in cooler conditions. Keyless start simplifies getting underway, and the reversing camera assists with parking and low-speed manoeuvring. Bluetooth connectivity, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay provide familiar ways to connect a compatible phone for calls, audio and navigation.

Practicality is also a central part of the EV5's appeal. Roof rails provide an additional way to carry outdoor or recreational equipment, complementing the vehicle's five-seat layout and available cargo space. The elevated SUV stance and four-wheel-drive configuration broaden its usefulness for trips that may involve unsealed surfaces, although the vehicle remains equally at home handling routine urban driving and commuting.

Safety equipment includes Lane Keeping Active Assist and a five-star ANCAP safety rating. The listed specification also includes ABS and multiple airbags, including driver, passenger and front-centre airbags. These systems are designed to support the driver and provide additional protection as part of the vehicle's overall safety package.
