This 2025 XPeng G6 Long Range presents a distinctive interpretation of the electric SUV, combining coupe-inspired proportions with the practical footprint and versatility expected of a five-seat family vehicle. As a demo vehicle with 1,508 km, it offers the opportunity to experience XPeng's technology-focused approach in a lightly used example.

Its electric powertrain produces 210 kW and 440 Nm, with power sent to the rear wheels through a single-speed automatic transmission. The 87.5 kWh lithium-ion battery is paired with a claimed 570 km WLTP driving range, making the G6 well suited to drivers who want fewer charging stops on longer journeys as well as quiet, smooth everyday motoring. DC charging capability is rated at up to 280 kW, with the stated 10 to 80 per cent charging window taking approximately 20 minutes under suitable conditions. AC charging uses a Type 2 connection, while CCS2 is provided for DC charging.

The cabin is designed around comfort and digital convenience. Power-adjustable front seats, heated front and rear seating, a heated steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control give the interior a broad range of useful daily amenities. A panoramic glass roof helps create an airy passenger compartment, while the black interior and vegan leather trim provide a clean, contemporary finish. Integrated connectivity includes Bluetooth, digital radio, voice recognition and a connected smartphone app. The vehicle also includes automatic and remote parking assistance, which can reduce the effort involved in manoeuvring in confined spaces.

For occupants and luggage, the G6 offers a 571-litre boot that expands to 1,374 litres with the rear seats folded. That flexibility gives the SUV useful capacity for everyday errands, while vehicle-to-load capability adds the option of supplying power to compatible external equipment when required. Its five-door layout, five-seat capacity and 20-inch alloy wheels complete a specification aimed at blending practical transport with a modern electric driving experience.

Driver assistance and safety equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert and a 360-degree surround-view camera. An integrated dash camera, reversing camera, automatic headlights and tyre-pressure monitoring add further everyday reassurance. The G6 carries a five-star ANCAP rating.
