The 2025 XPeng G6 Long Range is a fully electric coupe-SUV that combines a streamlined profile with the everyday practicality expected of a five-seat family vehicle. Its rear-wheel-drive layout, 210kW permanent-magnet electric motor and 87.5kWh lithium-ion battery give it a strong technical foundation, while the 570km WLTP driving range is suited to regular commuting and longer-distance travel.

Charging is a particular strength. The G6 uses an 800-volt electrical architecture and supports DC charging at up to 280kW, with the stated 10-to-80 per cent charging window taking approximately 20 minutes under suitable conditions. A Type 2 connection is provided for AC charging and CCS2 is used for DC fast charging. Regenerative charging and vehicle-to-load capability add flexibility, allowing the vehicle to supply power to external appliances when required.

Inside, the cabin is designed around comfort and a clean, technology-focused layout. Black vegan leather trim, power-adjustable front seats and heated seating for both front and rear occupants make the interior well equipped for changing conditions, while ventilation for the front seats adds another layer of day-to-day comfort. A heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic glass roof further contribute to a more relaxed cabin environment.

The G6 also offers useful space for passengers and luggage. Its boot provides 571 litres with the rear seats in use, expanding to 1,374 litres when those seats are folded. That flexibility makes the vehicle practical for routine shopping, equipment or larger loads without losing the convenience of a five-seat layout.

Technology is central to the driving experience. A 14.96-inch central touchscreen is paired with a 10.2-inch digital driver display, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto provide familiar smartphone integration. Dual wireless charging pads, Bluetooth connectivity, digital radio and an 18-speaker premium sound system extend the vehicle's entertainment and connectivity functions. Fully automatic and remote parking assistance are also listed, helping simplify manoeuvring in tighter spaces.

Driver assistance equipment includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assistance, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert and a 360-degree surround-view camera. Road-sign recognition, an adaptive speed limiter, integrated dash camera and safe-exit warning add further support in everyday driving. A five-star ANCAP rating is recorded for the model, along with seven airbags and ISOFIX anchorage points.
