The Geely EX5 Inspire Extended Range is a new electric SUV that combines a practical five-door body with a substantial claimed driving range. Its 68.4 kWh lithium-ion battery and 160.0 kW permanent-magnet electric motor provide an advertised 450 km range under both NEDC and WLTP testing, while mains and regenerative charging support everyday electric-car use.

With front-wheel drive and a single-speed reduction gear transmission, the EX5 is configured for straightforward, quiet operation. The 320 Nm motor delivers a listed 0–100 km/h time of 7.6 seconds, giving the vehicle useful responsiveness without the complexity of a conventional multi-speed drivetrain. A stated fast-charge time of 20 minutes adds flexibility when longer journeys require a quick charging stop.

The Inspire grade places a strong emphasis on cabin comfort and technology. Massaging and electrically adjustable seats, memory-seat functionality, a heated steering wheel and climate control are features that make the interior better suited to extended time on the road. The panoramic-style sunroof with power blind, privacy glass and cleaner-cabin air system add to the sense of space and comfort, while the Cloud interior finish gives the cabin a restrained appearance.
