2026 BMW M5 Sedan Automatic

This new BMW M5 Sedan combines the presence of a luxury saloon with the specification and technology expected of BMW's high-performance M range. Finished in Black Sapphire metallic with a red interior, it presents a distinctive contrast between understated exterior colour and a more expressive cabin treatment.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain is paired with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, giving the M5 a broad range of everyday capability while retaining the mechanical specification associated with the model. The listed output is 430 kW (585 hp), with 750Nm of torque, a 305 km/h maximum speed and a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 3.50 seconds. These figures place the car firmly in performance-saloon territory, while its four-door layout and five-seat cabin preserve the practicality expected from a large executive sedan.

Charging equipment is included for both public and domestic use, with a Mode 3 cable for AC rapid charging and a Flexible Charger for Mode 2 connections. That gives owners more choice in how the plug-in hybrid system is replenished, depending on the available charging environment. The vehicle also carries a 60-litre fuel tank, supporting longer-distance travel beyond the charging routine.
