Vehicle Overview

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy AWD is a large, premium-oriented hybrid wagon designed to combine family practicality with a more refined on-road experience. As a demo vehicle with 2,009km, it pairs the presence and space expected of an eight-seat SUV with an efficient hybrid powertrain and all-wheel-drive traction.

Its 2.5-litre engine is matched to a six-speed sports automatic transmission and produces 245kW and 460Nm. All-wheel drive adds confidence across changing road surfaces, while the selectable driving and terrain modes provide a degree of flexibility for different conditions. A listed fuel economy figure of 6.8L/100km further highlights the hybrid system's focus on balancing useful performance with day-to-day efficiency.

Inside, the Palisade is configured for eight occupants, making its three-row layout particularly useful when carrying passengers and their belongings. Comfort-focused equipment includes Nappa leather-appointed seating, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outer second-row seats and heated third-row seats. The front seats offer extensive electric adjustment, memory functionality and lumbar support, while rear climate control and sunshade blinds help make the cabin more accommodating for passengers throughout the vehicle.

The Calligraphy's technology suite is substantial. A 12.3-inch instrument display sits alongside a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system with satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. A head-up display, digital rear-view mirror, wireless charging pad and digital key functionality add convenience, while the interior camera and passenger talk function provide useful ways to stay connected across the three-row cabin.

Driver assistance is a major part of the Palisade's appeal. The equipment list includes forward collision-avoidance assistance, lane-keeping and lane-following assistance, blind-spot collision-avoidance assistance, a blind-spot view monitor and highway integrated assist. Surround-view parking assistance, remote smart parking assist, rear parking collision avoidance and a rear-view monitor help with positioning a sizeable vehicle in confined spaces. Eight airbags, a front-centre airbag, stability management and trailer stability control add further layers of protection.

Exterior details include LED lighting, roof rails, heated and folding mirrors, privacy glass and a sunroof. The power tailgate and retractable cargo cover support everyday loading, while cargo tie-down points, under-floor storage and a range of power outlets contribute to the Palisade's practical character. With its generous seating capacity, premium cabin appointments and broad technology offering, this Calligraphy AWD presents a well-equipped interpretation of Hyundai's large hybrid SUV.
