2026 BMW iX1 xDrive30 Automatic

The 2026 BMW iX1 xDrive30 brings electric power into a compact luxury SUV format, combining the practicality of a five-seat cabin with the quiet, immediate character of battery-electric driving. Finished in Cape York Green metallic with a Black interior, this new example is equipped with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, giving it a well-rounded specification for everyday urban use and longer journeys alike.

Its electric powertrain produces 230 kW (313 hp), with a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.60 seconds. That output gives the iX1 a distinctly energetic character without relying on a conventional petrol engine, while the 180 km/h maximum speed and single-speed automatic transmission suit the smooth, uncomplicated nature of electric propulsion. All-wheel drive further distinguishes the xDrive30 variant, providing traction through both axles rather than sending power exclusively to the front or rear.

The iX1 is designed to be easy to live with as an electric vehicle. A Mode 3 charging cable for public charging is supplied alongside a Flexible Charger for Mode 2 charging, while the AC Charging Professional system supports charging at up to 22 kW. BMW IconicSounds Electric and acoustic pedestrian protection complement the near-silent operation of the drivetrain, helping retain a sense of driver engagement while ensuring the vehicle remains perceptible in low-speed environments.

Inside, the Black cabin includes electrically adjustable front seats with memory and heating for both the driver and front passenger.
