INEOS Grenadier Partners World’s Remotest Music Festival

The INEOS Grenadier featured prominently in a demanding Australian outback support role during the 2024 Big Red Bash and Mundi Mundi Bash music festivals. Held in remote locations in Queensland and New South Wales, the events combined live music with long-distance travel through some of the country’s most isolated landscapes.

The journey to the two festivals covered more than 2,000 kilometres through wilderness country, with the road trip forming an important part of the experience. The Big Red Bash was held near Birdsville in the Simpson Desert, while the Mundi Mundi Bash took place near Broken Hill on the expansive Mundi Mundi plains. Both locations required organisers and visitors to travel considerable distances from the nearest cities.

Four Grenadier vehicles were used by the event team to support festival operations. Their duties included towing caravans and equipment trailers, transporting kit and moving around the festival sites to help keep activities running smoothly. That working role illustrates the vehicle’s intended appeal as a practical four-wheel-drive platform for remote travel and event logistics, rather than simply as a recreational display vehicle.

The Grenadier was also used for supervised passenger rides with professional drivers. These demonstrations took place across the Birdsville dunes and the Mundi Mundi plains, giving festivalgoers an opportunity to experience the vehicle away from sealed roads and in the open terrain surrounding the events.
