Vehicle Overview

2025 Isuzu N Series NMR 65/45-150 DT D34.

This new Isuzu NMR 65/45-150 DT D34 combines a compact light-duty truck platform with a purpose-built refrigerated body, giving operators a practical solution for temperature-sensitive freight. Its 6,500 kg GVM and 8,000 kg GCM provide useful carrying and combination capability, while the 4x2 axle configuration suits conventional urban and regional delivery work.

Power comes from Isuzu's 4JZ1-TCS four-cylinder turbo-diesel, producing 110 kW and 375 Nm between 1,280 and 2,800 rpm. The nine-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission is designed to reduce driver workload while retaining the operational control expected of a commercial vehicle. A 100-litre fuel tank and 14-litre AdBlue tank support regular working use, and the chassis is fitted with Michelin 205/85R16 tyres.

The refrigerated body offers three-pallet capacity and 14.76 cubic metres of internal volume. Its 4,100 mm internal length, 2,176 mm internal width and 1,780 mm internal height provide a useful balance between payload access and manoeuvrability. A fully welded T6061-T6 aluminium alloy floor is intended for demanding loading environments, while the passenger-side front-opening side door, rear barn doors and stainless-steel hardware provide multiple loading and unloading options. Internal cargo management is supported by a stainless-steel cargo track with bar and holder.

Cooling is supplied by a TransAir TU-07 off-engine-drive system with a stated temperature rating of -18 degrees Celsius. This configuration is suited to freight that needs to remain chilled or frozen during distribution, subject to operating conditions and load requirements. The body weighs approximately 974 kg, an important consideration when planning payload and axle loading.

Cab equipment focuses on everyday usability. Automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch high-definition touchscreen, truck-tailored GPS navigation with live traffic and map updates, Wi-Fi connectivity, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay provide a well-equipped working environment. Bi-LED headlamps with daytime running lamps, LED tail lamps, an electric park brake with auto brake hold and a reverse alarm add convenience and visibility around busy delivery sites.

The truck also incorporates ADR 80/04 compliance features and an ECE-R29 cab with side anti-intrusion beams. Front and rear axle capacities are rated at 2,600 kg and 5,000 kg respectively. Chassis coverage is specified for six years or 250,000 km, with servicing scheduled at 25,000 km, 12 months or 500 hours, whichever occurs first.
