Vehicle Overview

The 2017 Kia Cerato Sport YD is a practical five-door hatchback that combines straightforward everyday usability with a well-equipped cabin. Its compact proportions make it easy to place in urban traffic and parking spaces, while the hatchback body provides useful flexibility for passengers, shopping and general cargo.

Power comes from a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a six-speed sports automatic transmission. With front-wheel drive, the Cerato follows a familiar and easy-to-manage layout suited to conventional road use. The automatic gearbox helps keep driving relaxed in stop-start conditions while still offering the driver a more engaged mode when desired.

Inside, the black cabin is arranged with an emphasis on convenience. Air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and USB, auxiliary and iPod inputs support comfortable daily travel and straightforward access to personal audio. Six speakers provide the sound system, while front and rear bottle holders, door pockets and shared centre armrests add useful storage and comfort for occupants.

The Cerato Sport also includes equipment intended to make routine driving easier. A rear-vision camera works with front and rear parking sensors to improve awareness when manoeuvring, while remote central locking, an alarm and electronic stability, traction and brake assistance systems contribute to a reassuring ownership experience. The five-seat layout gives the car versatility for commuting, errands and carrying passengers.

On the outside, Snow White Pearl paint is complemented by 17-inch alloy wheels, body-coloured exterior details, a chrome grille surround and a chrome exhaust tip. The specification also includes a cargo cover and tie-down points, adding practical value when the rear area is being used for varied loads.
