Vehicle Overview

The 2026 Geely EX5 is a compact electric SUV that combines a clean, contemporary shape with a practical five-seat cabin. Finished in Aquatic Green with a Midnight interior, this Inspire Extended Range E245 demo presents as a near-new example with just 198km recorded. Its front-wheel-drive layout and automatic reduction-gear transmission are designed around the smooth, quiet delivery expected of a modern battery-electric vehicle.

Everyday usability is a central part of the EX5’s appeal. The electric tailgate makes loading easier, while the powered glass roof with an electric blind adds a brighter, more open feel to the cabin when desired. Front occupants are supported by electrically adjustable seats with memory, heating and massage functions, offering a more considered environment for longer journeys as well as routine urban driving. Rear air conditioning, a rear centre armrest and a cargo cover add practical touches for passengers and luggage.

With a quoted WLTP range of 450km, the Extended Range designation gives the EX5 the ability to cover regular travel with fewer charging interruptions, subject to driving conditions and charging access. Its electric powertrain is paired with adjustable regenerative braking, allowing the driver to tailor how the vehicle recovers energy while slowing. Digital instrumentation, a head-up display, satellite navigation and a colour multifunction control screen keep key information and vehicle functions readily accessible.

The Inspire specification also places a strong emphasis on driver assistance and visibility. Front, rear and side cameras support a broad view around the vehicle, while the listed safety equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, front and rear cross-traffic alert, forward and rearward collision warning, lane-departure warning and active lane-keeping assistance. Distance cruise control, parking sensors and graphical parking assistance further reduce the workload in busy traffic and confined spaces. The EX5 carries a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
