Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout is paired with a 230 kW electric powertrain, giving the iX1 xDrive30 a strong performance focus while retaining the smooth, quiet delivery associated with electric propulsion. The automatic transmission requires no conventional gear changes, making the vehicle well suited to relaxed urban driving as well as more engaging open-road travel. Adaptive M Suspension is fitted to support a more controlled and composed driving character.

Everyday usability is supported by the SUV body style, five-seat cabin and useful charging equipment. A Mode 3 cable is included for public charging, while the Mode 2 Flexible Charger provides an additional charging option where suitable power is available. AC Charging Professional supports charging at up to 22 kW, subject to the capabilities of the connected charging installation.

The interior specification places emphasis on comfort and technology.
