Vehicle Overview

The 2025 Subaru Outback AWD Touring XT combines the long-legged practicality of a large SUV with Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. Finished in Autumn Green Metallic and showing just 11 km, this five-door, five-seat wagon-style SUV is specified for drivers who want everyday comfort without giving up capability when conditions become more demanding.

Its 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine produces 183 kW and 350 Nm, giving the Outback Touring XT a substantial powertrain suited to both open-road travel and carrying a full complement of passengers. The continuously variable transmission is equipped with manual mode and paddle shifters, while Subaru's SI-DRIVE system allows the driver to tailor the vehicle's response. X-Mode, Active Torque Vectoring and the symmetrical all-wheel-drive layout add useful control on changing surfaces.

Practicality is a central strength. The cabin seats five, access is provided through five doors, and the hands-free powered tailgate simplifies loading. Cargo capacity is listed at 522 litres with the seats in use and 1,267 litres with them folded, expanding to 1,711 litres to the ceiling. Silver roof rails with integrated cross bars further support carrying larger items, while a full-size spare wheel provides useful reassurance on longer trips.

The Touring XT interior focuses on comfort and equipment. Nappa leather-accented seating is complemented by eight-way power adjustment for both front seats, dual memory for the driver's seat and ventilation for the driver and front passenger. Dual-zone climate control with rear vents helps maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the cabin, while the electric sunroof adds an open, airy feel. A leather steering wheel and gear shift reinforce the upmarket character.

Technology is centred on an 11.6-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, digital radio and a nine-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with subwoofer and amplifier. Front, side and rear-view monitors assist with positioning, and the powered tailgate and smart key with push-start ignition make routine use more convenient.

Subaru's EyeSight driver-assistance suite is supported by adaptive cruise control, lane centring, emergency lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assist, rear cross-traffic alert and reverse automatic braking. Pre-collision braking, autonomous emergency steering, driver monitoring, speed-sign recognition and an intelligent speed limiter add further layers of active safety support. The vehicle is also equipped with LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers, privacy glass, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and 18-inch alloy wheels.
