Vehicle Overview

2022 Essential Caravans C Class Touring MY23 20ft 6inch.

The 2022 Essential Caravans C Class Touring is a 20ft 6inch caravan designed around comfortable, self-contained touring. Its interior combines an island queen bed with a large L-shaped lounge, creating a practical layout for extended stays while retaining a clear separation between sleeping and living areas. The arrangement should appeal to travellers who want the familiarity of a residential-style interior rather than a compact weekend setup.

Day-to-day living is supported by a Dometic 173-litre three-way refrigerator, a four-burner cooktop with three gas burners and one electric element, plus an oven and griller. A microwave adds convenience when preparing quick meals, while the gas/electric hot-water system supports both kitchen and bathroom use. The caravan is also fitted with a top-loading washing machine, which can be useful on longer trips where access to laundry facilities is limited.

Entertainment and climate equipment add to the interior's flexibility. A roof-mounted Dometic IBIS 4 air conditioner is fitted for warmer conditions, while the NCE television includes a built-in DVD player and is paired with a Winegard antenna. An NCE stereo, internal and external speakers, and wireless phone-charging pads round out the living-area equipment without changing the fundamentally practical layout.

Off-grid capability is supported by two 95-litre fresh-water tanks, a 195-watt solar panel and a 105Ah AGM battery. A BMPRO water-tank and battery monitor provides a central reference for the available onboard resources, helping owners keep track of water and electrical usage while travelling. Outside, the rollout awning extends the usable living area, and the fold-out picnic table creates a convenient spot for meals or preparation at the campsite. A reverse camera is also fitted to assist with manoeuvring.

The published weights are a 2,347kg tare, 2,947kg ATM and 198kg tow-ball mass. Those figures are important when matching the caravan to a suitable tow vehicle and planning payload, so they should be considered alongside the tow vehicle's rated capacities. The listing also states that the caravan comes with a current gas certificate and roadworthy certificate.
