The 2022 Essential Caravans Outlander Series Design 5.1 is a two-berth touring caravan configured for extended travel with the practicality of a genuine home-away-from-home. It incorporates a vanity, large shower and separate toilet, while a Dometic top-load washing machine adds useful self-contained laundry capability. An external shower with hot and cold water extends that convenience outside the caravan, and a Dometic roll-out awning provides a covered area alongside the body when set up at camp.

The electrical system is designed to support off-grid touring. It includes two 100Ah AGM batteries, two 195-watt solar panels, a 30-amp regulator, a solar controller and a BMPRO 35HA TREK display. Digital water and battery gauges provide information at a glance, while a 95-litre grey-water tank contributes to the caravan's self-contained touring setup.
