2024 Crusader LIFECHANGER Caravan Experience

This 2024 Crusader LIFECHANGER Experience is a 20-foot dual-axle caravan designed around comfortable touring for two. Measuring approximately 7.4 metres by 2.4 metres overall, including the drawbar, it combines a spacious interior with a practical arrangement that keeps the main living, cooking and bathroom facilities readily accessible.

The sleeping area is arranged at the front with a north-south island queen-size bed, giving the main berth a more residential feel than a conventional transverse layout. A large leather club lounge and dinette provide a comfortable place to relax during the day, while the table can be converted to an additional sleeping area when required. Large windows, block-out blinds, flyscreens and built-in storage contribute to a living space that is useful in both bright daytime conditions and overnight stays.

A right-hand kitchen provides generous bench space and storage, supported by a Hawk cooktop and grill, built-in microwave and a 171-litre compressor refrigerator/freezer capable of operating on 12V or 240V. The layout is suited to preparing meals inside without compromising the central living zone, while the external BBQ bayonet adds another cooking option when using the caravan outdoors.

At the rear, the full ensuite brings together a cassette toilet, large fibreglass shower and vanity with ceramic basin and contemporary tapware. The built-in 3.2kg washing machine adds a useful level of independence for longer trips, reducing the need to rely on external laundry facilities. Additional bathroom storage helps keep everyday essentials organised.

Touring support comes from a BMPRO electrical system, a 110Ah AGM battery mounted beneath the chassis and a roof-mounted 200W solar panel. Electric and gas hot water, reverse-cycle roof air conditioning and a 24-inch Smart TV add convenience across different conditions and destinations. Two 110-litre fresh-water tanks, a digital tank-level indicator and twin 9kg gas bottles further support self-contained travel.

The caravan uses a tandem-axle Duratech box-section chassis with welded Australian-steel rails, Duragal galvanised coating, an integrated A-frame, electric drum brakes and roller-rocker independent suspension. Listed weights are 2,142kg tare, 3,200kg ATM, 3,067kg GTM and 133kg tow-ball weight at tare, giving prospective owners the key figures needed when checking tow-vehicle compatibility.
