This new BMW X1 xDrive25e combines compact SUV practicality with plug-in hybrid capability and all-wheel-drive traction. With zero kilometres displayed, it presents as an unregistered example of BMW's electrified X1 range, pairing an automatic transmission with a petrol-electric powertrain and the flexibility of charging equipment supplied for both public and domestic use.

The xDrive25e's appeal lies in its balanced everyday format. The upright SUV body provides a useful cabin and five-seat layout without the bulk of a larger vehicle, while the all-wheel-drive system adds confidence across changing road conditions. Its 100 kW (136 hp) engine output and 230Nm of torque are complemented by electric assistance, with the vehicle recording a claimed 0–100km/h acceleration time of 6.80 seconds and a maximum speed of 190 km/h.
